Maumee Valley Country Day School's junior class presented Issue Day. They had a variety of speakers from our community and beyond discuss “Youth Culture: Growing Up in the Modern Age.”

The opening keynote presentation was by Mr. James Chenette, the youngest legislator in Maine's House of Representatives at the age of 21, and also one of the youngest in the country. He graduated from high school at Thornton Academy and graduated early with an associate’s degree in TV News and a bachelor’s degree in Broadcasting with minors in Political Science and Multimedia Communications from Lyndon State College in December 2012. Mr. Chenette is an energetic advocate for youth involvement in government and leadership today, and offered his unique perspective on Youth Culture in his presentation.
