In 2013, The City of Maumee will be celebrating its 175th anniversary. Jack Hiles spoke about the history of Maumee, its important role in the settlement of northwest Ohio and how the Maumee River, the Erie Canal and the railroad moved people, products and ideas to and from the region.

The presentation was held at the Wolcott House Museum.
