Joanna Russ, archivist for ProMedica, spoke on the history of hospital-based nurse education in Toledo in the 20th century. The talk explained how nurses were trained in these schools, which were in existence at most area hospitals until the 1960s, when nursing education moved to universities.

The presentation was held at the University of Toledo.
