“‘I Got a Lust for Life’: The Unique Words and Sounds of Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan” was a public series of panel discussions, reflecting the impact of the African American Great Migration on literary and musical expression in Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan. The program took place at multiple venues: from Wayne State University, to the Toledo Lucas County Public Library, to the Toledo Museum of Art.
