Description

Birds have been supporting the arts by providing inspiration to artists for thousands of years, from prehistoric times to the present day. Much more recently, within the last couple of centuries, the arts have begun to return the favor: artists now play a major role in supporting bird conservation. From his perspective as a longtime birder and artist who cares passionately about conservation, Kenn shared his own ideas about this three-way connection.

The presentation was part of The Biggest Week in American Birding. The lecture was at Maumee Bay State Park.
