Description

Dr. Gregory Marouard (Research Associate in Egyptian Archaeology at the Oriental Institute, University of Chicago) is a French Egyptologist who is part of the team now surveying and excavating a port facility on Egypt's Red Sea coast dating to the reign of King Khufu (~2550 BC). He spoke on "The ancient Egyptian harbor at Wadi al-Jarf on the Red Sea and its link to the Khufu pyramid at Giza."

This lecture was presented by the Archaeological Institute of America--Toledo Society and the Toledo Museum of Art.
