Since the birth of the automotive industry, Toledo, Ohio, has been a major contributor to the development and production of the automobile. Learn about the advancement of the automobile through the histories of the companies that produced them, as well as the men and women who assembled them.

Michelle Schmidt spoke on Toledo’s rich manufacturing and automotive past. The Toledo History Museum is located in the historic Valentine Building.
