In this lesson, 4th graders will explore communication and how the technology has helped to make great strives in how we communicate. The students will explore communication by watching a video, looking at pictures, and being their own background knowledge into discussions. The students will be asked to think about their favorite way to communicate and complete a journal entry about not being able to use that form of communication. Also, the students will work in partners and/or groups to create a new and upcoming form a communication.
