I am a seventh grade science teacher at Eisenhower Middle School in Oregon, Ohio. The following are the assignments and activities for the week of January 23-27, 2012.Note the fetching picture of me in my coral polyp costume!!
Monday:Extreme Arthropods. We will review the characteristics of Arthropods, and explore extreme environments (Antartic Peninsula dnd Namib Desert) in which arthrpods can be found.
Tuesday: We will examine adaptations of arthropods which live iunder extreme conditions. Students will evaluate the adaptations and choose those their arthropods will exhibit.
Wednesday: Work day for Extreme Arthropod. Text Retake during AA.
Thursday: Extrema Arthropods due. Students may present to the class or to me privately during AA Friday.
Friday: Mountain Ecosystems, Yellowstone Park Biome
