WGTE is more than TV and radio program producer and broadcaster---WGTE is a center of learning and education. We were founded as an educational institution, and our educational mission remains at the heart of what we do every day. From our entertaining, informative and educational programs that air on WGTE TV and FM 91, to our professional development opportunities for K-12 teachers and preschool day care providers, WGTE helps to make Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan a better place to live.
Hello, everyone!
Sorry it's taken forever to use this resource, but I'm going to try to be consistent with it from this point forward. I'm also hoping to have things uploaded for projects and notes.
Things to be aware of:
Students are getting their booktalk packet today for their Science fiction/Fantasy book. Packets will be due in ink or typed by Tuesday, December 6. If they don't understand something, please have your student ask me.
We are going to be reading one more story from our Tales of the Strange and Mysterious unit and then we'll be moving on to our novel Stand Tall by Joan Bauer. If your child would like to buy or check out the novel from the library, that would be fine. You may hear your child talking about how to Pay it Forward to others before the holidays.
Pleae e-mail me at lmeyer@oregoncs.org if you have any questions.
Thanks.
