Week of December 14th
6th & 7th Grade:
Students are creating a digital scrapbook using PowerPoint. They will add a digital camera picture and use Smart Art to make a family tree. Students will also scan pictures to add to their scrapbook, so they need to bring in a picture(s)
8th Grade:
Students are finishing their Choose Your Own Adventure PowerPoints using Action Buttons, which we will view in class. Our last project used PowerPoint to create a Jeopardy game.

6th Grade:
Monday: We will be making Thanksgiving cards using Publisher.
Tuesday: Write Around the Room Story Starters: Students will be given a story starter to key in Word. After 5 minutes, students will move to the next computer to continue the story until they return to their own computer and finish the story.
7th Grade:
Monday: Excel Assignment: Spaghetti Fundraiser – students determine how much money is raised, then play “what if” to increase the amount raised to $1000 or more.
Tuesday: Students will practice making charts in Excel.
8th Grade:
Monday and Tuesday – Students need to finish their Publisher magazines.
6th Grade:
Monday & Tuesday: Excel Activity: Top 20 Songs - see direction sheet
Wednesday: Making a Chart in Excel: Favorite Treats
Thursday: Making a Chart in Excel: Getting Fancy with Column Charts

Friday: Excel Activity – Spaghetti Fundraiser – Students plan a fundraiser to earn $1000 for their computer lab.
